It’s Official: Snoop Dog is No Longer Cool – Will Rap & Act in Soap Opera “One Life to Live”
FILED UNDER: Music. News. TV. Videos.
Once upon a time, Snoop Dog was considered cool. Remember all that “foshizzle” stuff? Yeah, those were the days. As if his family-friendly reality-show isn’t enough to tarnish his image, the Snooper has announced that he’ll be making an “extended cameo” on the soap-opera One Life to Live. Worse, he’ll be performing two songs from his latest album, the aptly named “Ego Tripping.” Worse….it gets worse? Yes it does. Worse, he’ll be remixing the theme song from the show.
The episodes are slated to debut on May 8th and May 9th.
Says the Snoop:
“I’ve been a fan of `One Life to Live’ since I was a baby. My momma always had it on the tube in tha crib growing up. The opportunity to change up the theme song and give it some of my flavor will make the show the Life of The Party.”
Someone shoot me. Does Snoop really expect a bunch of Soccer Moms to download his music off iTunes?
One Life to Live Opening. Now imagine it Snooperized.
