How to follow-up the world-wide hit Slumdog Millionaire? If you’re film director Danny Boyle, also known for the great independent movie Trainspotting, you secure the rights to the true story of Aron Ralston. Who is Aron Ralston, I hear you mutter. He was the guy who was mountain climbing by himself a few years ago and suddenly found his arm trapped under a large boulder. He sat there for 127 hours until finally mustering the courage to cut off his own arm.

You can find the original survival story here.

It will be interesting to see how Danny Boyle tackles this project.
