Ad Specifications

InfoAddict supports a variety of advertising technologies and development tools including: flash, expandable ads, audio and video ads, product tours, polling, third-party tags (HREF, IMG SRC) and rich-media tags (IFRAME). We also allow third-party serving of ads, but all services must be pre-approved and tested to run on our network.

Formats: jpg, gif, swf, png
Expanding:  User-initiated on click/mouseover only.  Requires prominent stop/close button.
Animation: unlimited animation playback.
Rich Media:  We work with all rich media vendors including Pointroll, Klipmart, Eyewonder, EyeBlaster, Atlas, etc.
Video:  Automatic start allowed.  Requires prominent stop/close button.
Audio:  Audio streams longer than one second must be user-initiated with a prominent on/off button. Sound (including clicks and beeps) under one second may be allowed for mouse-overs, unless deemed to be distracting.

Standard IAB Ad Units

We offer standard Internet Advertising Bureau ad units for advertiser campaigns.  We also provide custom executions, sponsored contests, content category sponsorships, branded video, product giveaways, and full-page takeovers. Discounts are available for long-term sponsorships.

Display ads may be purchased on a per-impression basis (CPM) or flat-rate basis.  If you chose to purchase on a CPM basis your ads will rotate with other ads, up to the budgeted allowance for the month.  If you chose a flat-rate package your ad will run exclusively in the zone of your choice and you will benefit from our big traffic spikes at no additional charge.
